The hotel was built in a neo colonial style house, which formerly was the site of the embassy of Great Britain. In ancient times this area was where embassies and mansions of the blooming Quito functioned. Nowadays the neighbours are the France embassy, National Museum and Culture House of Ecuador. It is located in the heart of the city, a few steps from the El Ejido Park, and a few minutes from the historic center and the Foch square.
