QUILOTOA CRATER LAKE DAY TOUR

 

We will drive to Quilotoa Lake, on the route we will see beautiful landscapes with agricultural green lands and snow covered mountains, revealing the population of Zumbahua, its surroundings are invaded by traders of the area and others form far away, exchanging in a traditional way animals and products of the region. With a distance walk, we will see the “Quilotoa” lake with a crater of 2 km of diameter with amazing emerald waters formed by the presence of volcanic sulfur. With the incredible natural sound the echo will accompany us on quite relaxing walk. We will have a delicious stop in the lunch area.

During our tour, we might have the possibility of seeing a “naïf” artist. Naïf art is well known throughout the world. If the stand is open, we will have the opportunity of buying one of these unique art works. Return to Quito.
