DAY 1: SAN CRISTOBAL – TRANSFER IN AIRPORT -HOTEL (-/-/-)

Arrival to San Cristobal the capital of the province of Galapagos, it is characterized of its devoted people is mainly fishing and tourism activities that have come to develop in a sustainable way the environment. Since a hundred years ago San Cristobal island has always been inhabited it is mainly because of its many sources of fresh water, located in the mountain inside the island.

Our transportation will be waiting for you at the airport to transfer you to the hotel. Accommodation.

DAY 2: INTERPRETATION CENTER – Tijeretas HILL OR Loberia half day (B/-/-)

This day you will have the opportunity to visit the Interpretation Center – Tijeretas or Loberia, based on availability we can confirm one of the following tours:

INTERPRETATION CENTER & Tijeretas

It is located at the northern limit of the city, was built in 1998 by the Galapagos National Park Management and the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation (AECID).

It is made up of three autonomous constructions connected by footbridges and footpaths, exhibition and conference rooms, a natural history room that explains the origin of the islands, a human history room that describes the presence of man since the discovery of the Galapagos and the room Of conservation where it shows the interest to protect and preserve the environment. In addition, it has some self-guided trails, an open-air auditorium, some ship-scale models and a high-relief geographic chart of the islands.  Afterwards, we will visit Las Tijeretas Hill, located within walking distance of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. It takes its name from the large number of frigates or «tijeretas» that inhabit and nest in this area.

The entrance is made from the Interpretation Center, the circuit has a distance of 2.5 km. and the estimated time of the visit is 2 hours, has viewpoints along the route from where you can observe the passage of whales, mainly between the months of June and October.

LoberiA

It is a good place not to lose sight of the colonies of wolves and marine iguanas. Here you can see the coastal vegetation and dry where is common mangrove, salt marsh, muyuyo and palo verde, this place is ideal for surfing.

DAY 3: Highlands (Junco + Galapaguera) + CHINO PORT FULL DAY (B/L/-)

This small lake, which is 650 meters high is a good place to admire the changes in vegetation that covers the islands. This lake is on the inside of a dormant crater.

It is the only island that is blessed with the benefit of fresh water.

Galapaguera was built in 2002 with the purpose of increasing the population of the endemic giant tortoises of San Cristóbal (Geochelone chathamensis). There are 12 hectares of dry forest in the Cerro Verde sector. It has a small interpretation center, where you can learn more about these reptiles and programs for their conservation and reproduction.

Our next visit will be to Puerto Chino, it is located 45 minutes from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, white sand beach, you can access this site by walking about 10 to 15 minutes. It is also an ideal place to relax observe seabirds feeding. Lunch.

DAY 4:  TRANSFER OUT (B/-/-)

An assistance will pick you up from the hotel to be transferred to the San Cristobal airport and take the flight to the Mainland.  End of services.

DAY 2:  Lobos ISLAND OR KICKER Rock (Leon Dormido) -/BL/

Lobos ISLAND- ochoa beach: Isla Lobos is a small islet located approximate 40 minutes from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. As its name implies this is a large amount of sea lions where you can swim and snorkel, it can also be seen nestiong colonies of birds such as blue-footed boobies,maked and frigates. Afterwards you will be able to snorkel in the protected bay nearby. Following a lunch on board you will relocate to Ochoa Beach where you can walk on the sand, snorkel some more or relax in the sun.

KICKER Rock (Leon Dormido): From the Highlands in San Cristobal you can see a lion shape, it consists of a rock with in the form of an obelisk that emerges from the sea. Between the rocks is formed a channel where you can practice snorkel and dive. Lunch on board.

DAY 2:  ESPAÑOLA ISLAND (-/L/

Departure at 07:30 from the pier of San Cristobal, bound for the island of Española, after an approximate navigation of between 01:40 and 02:00 p.m. arrival in Punta Suarez, where we disembark in the path and later walk, along the We can observe a large number of birds such as Albatross Spanish, Blue-footed Boobies, Nazca Piqueros, Cucuve de Spanish, tropical birds, the Galapagos Hawk, as well as Also the Spanish Red Iguana, colonies of sea lions. Among others, this walk has a duration of 02H00. Back On the boat we continue to the islet Gardner, here We will do snorkeling, with an approximate duration of one or an hour and a half, to be back in the boat. The lunch is made at 14:00.
